Today it is not necessary to have access to a broadband enabled telephone line to be able to monitor a camera that is located remotely.  SeSys has experience of delivering camera images using the 3G or GPRS (mobile network), ideal for sites that require off site monitoring where broadband is not available, prohibitively expensive to install, or temporary locations where perhaps monitoring is only required for a short time.

3G and GPRS coverage is widely available in the UK, allowing data to be sent over the mobile networks.  Utilising the mobile network effectively delivers direct connectivity to virtually anywhere. 3G enables data to be sent even faster, enabling larger images and higher frame rates from cameras located at different sites to be viewed.

The use of 3G equipment provides future proofing as the mobile networks improve and develop their networks. Given that the routing equipment will always use the fastest technology available areas that do not currently have 3G coverage can benefit in the future without any additional expense.
