A Professional Solution

Exus video storage systems have an optimised operating system and use the best hardware available. All video storage systems have at least 2GB of RAM and server processors to maximise performance. All video footage is stored to a robust and flexible RAID subsystem and enterprise hard drives for 24/7 reliability.

Standard and Pro Editions

All ExuS products, including Pro and Standard models support between 2 and 12 500GB, 1TB or 2TB drives. Standard models are designed for small to medium deployments and save on physical space. They are designed to be placed in an office, under a desk or somewhere else convenient. Standard Edition products support a limited number of cameras, which has a technical reason; This way, you are assured of a system that will work and never run into bandwidth bottlenecks.

Pro Edition products are designed for rack mount environments and require up to 2U. There is no limitation on the number of cameras that can be installed and recording. The hardware configuration is even more powerful and flexible. This includes redundant power supplies, hardware accelerated RAID and support for nested RAID modes. It is also possible to bond Pro Edition products through the network interface.
